Washington County Booking Intake
Washington County describes two local intake paths. A regular booking follows an arrest. A pre-booking can be ordered by a court for fingerprinting, DNA, or sentence-planning information before a later report date. Sentenced report-in inmates are told to report to the Washington County Jail, north of the courthouse, through the red doors. Failing to report on the court-ordered date can lead to an arrest warrant and may harm Huber privileges.
The local intake sequence includes identity work, search, property handling, booking paperwork, photo or fingerprint steps when applicable, medical review, classification, and first court movement. The jail supplies basic clothing, bedding, sandals or clogs, socks, hygiene items, and a cup after a person leaves the receiving area. One complete set of street clothing must stay in jail property. Medical co-pays may be charged to the inmate account, but the county states that medical care is not refused for inability to pay.

Washington County Inmate Visits
Adult family and friend visitation at Washington County Jail moved to CIDNET video on February 27, 2023. The county says adult in-person visitation is no longer offered. Washington County Inmate Funds
Inmate funds and commissary rules are local to Washington County Jail.
